At Tucson Computer Repair Service, we understand there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach for every customer or computer issue. Our motto is "an informed customer is a good customer": no double-talk or hidden fees, just frank and honest service. Our technicians are full-time and certified and take pride in their work, and you can be confident dealing with us. Hourly Rates (when applicable):

In-shop hourly rate: $65.00/hr

Remote Assistance hourly rate: $65.00/hr.

Flat Rates:

 Computer diagnostic:

We do not charge for initial diagnostic assessments taking less than 20 minutes. Beyond that there is a $65.00 diagnostic charge, which is waived if we do a repair of equal or greater value. Feel free to give us a call and we'll be happy to examine your computer with no hidden fees or sales pitches.

Virus/spyware removal:

$105 flat rate in-shop or remote (if possible). Price includes Free PC Tuneup, Free Antivirus software, Free Anti-Spyware software, Free Web Browser Patches and Upgrades. We will not only remove the viruses you currently have, we will update your system to make it less likely you'll become reinfected in the future. Compare our rate to Geek Squad’s here.

Laptop Motherboard Replacement or Repair:

Price on motherboard replacements depends on make and model of laptop, and availability of part. In many cases the motherboard can be repaired at the component level by our partner company for substantially less than the cost of a motherboard replacement or the cost of buying a new laptop. Issues like no video or no power, for example, can often be repaired. We also do motherboard repairs for Apple computers.

Laptop Power Connector (DC Jack) Repair/Replacement:

$135-$175 depending on the make/model of laptop and whether the DC jack is the soldered type or plug-in type. We can repair both types of jacks.

Complete reformat/reinstallation of operating system, device drivers, basic programs:

$125 flat rate: includes free Antivirus software, Microsoft service packs and critical updates installations, and data backup/restore of up to 30GB.

Hardware installation (network cards, graphic cards, hard drives, printers, etc):

$45-65 (in-shop). This only includes the physical installation of the hardware itself and the device driver if one is required. Compare our rate to Geek Squad's here.

Data backup:

Pricing depends on the type of backup and amount of data.
